ABOUT US

So, who are we? We’re not a registered charity. We’re not directly affiliated with the Daily Bread Food Bank. We’re just a couple of guys trying to do our part by making it easier for you to help those in need.

We both grew up in the east end of Toronto (The Beaches) and we still both live here (Leslieville) and work here selling real estate. When we began our real estate careers back in 2013, we started WarmWinters.ca which was an initiative to provide warm clothing to those in need during the winter months. Similar to how we’re running the East Side Food Drive, we would pick up warm clothing directly from all of the generous people who contributed each winter and we would deliver it to various charities and organizations in need. We found this incredibly rewarding and we would look forward to being able to help out each year! When the pandemic hit, we decided to shift our focus from warm clothing to food after we became aware of the significant increase in food bank visits.

Our Warm Winters initiative will be back one day as we know that it addressed a critical problem in our city and our East Side Food Drive initiative is here to stay!

We can’t thank you enough for taking the time to visit our website and read about the East Side Food Drive. If you’re able to, please make a contribution to our next food drive. We appreciate you!
